CDC Promotes CFIDS Awareness

CDC Launches "Get Informed. Get Diagnosed. Get Help." Campaign to promotes greater awareness of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

ICAF Established as a Non-Profit

The International Coalition for the Advancement of Fibromyalgia/CFIDS treatment has formally been established and is excited about the many opportunities in which this new organization will be able to bring together a Coalition of business, clinician, and patient advocates.

Subcommittee

A. Regulatory The primary responsibility of the Regulatory Subcommittee is Political Government funding and Research liaisons

B. Clinical The primary responsibilities of the Clinical Subcommittee are credentialing and Certification programs for Clinicians, evaluation and certification of treatment efficacy and safety, and the dissemination of treatment recommendations to the public and media.

C. Patient Resources The primary responsibility of the Patient Resource Subcommittee is to establish and maintain an Information Clearinghouse

D. Business: The primary responsibility of the Business Subcommittee is to organize and promote Regional & National Educational Symposiums

E. Communications Pending

F. Finance The primary responsibility of the Finance Subcommittee is to provide Financial Direction for Association
